About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee day-to-day operations of a large cannabis production facility
- Report and work directly with the Production Manager
- Support production staff with policies and procedures, schedules, and training
- Count items within their respective locations
- Ensure tallied amounts are accurately reflected in the inventory system
- Move items and assign them to new locations
- Use spreadsheets and Excel
- Conduct inventory in multiple facilities
- Track items daily to ensure accuracy
- Update item changes or new statuses in the system
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 21 years of age (or minimum 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV)
- Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening
- Excellent attention to detail
- Quick learner and team player
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong time management skills
- Attend inventory system training sessions as needed
- Ability to count items within their respective locations
- Ability to utilize spreadsheets and Excel
- Ability to perform inventory in multiple facilities
- Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
- Ability to work seated/standing for extended periods and perform climbing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and frequent/constant hand movements
- Ability to handle organic matter daily and wear appropriate PPE in hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions
- Visual acuity sufficient for computer work and inspection of small parts/details
- Ability to communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers and vendors
