About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the General Manager in leading and supervising store personnel
  • Plan and implement strategies to drive service standards and positive sales results
  • Maintain brand standards in visual merchandising
  • Ensure compliance with state-specific regulations
  • Review, communicate, and ensure compliance with company SOPs
  • Communicate changes to employees with the General Manager and other leaders
  • Coach, train, and develop the team on service standards and accountability
  • Monitor and maintain store inventory
  • Handle and resolve patient issues and escalations while on duty
  • Maintain professional working relationships with business partners
  • Assist the General Manager in managing the labor budget
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance
  • Perform other tasks assigned by management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Two years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Prior management experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service
  • Prior cash handling experience
  • Ability to train, develop, and evaluate a team of 40+ employees
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism
  • Ability to communicate in conversational English
  • Ability to operate electronic equipment, including computer, scanner, printer, and telecommunication devices
  • Ability to comprehend safety procedures
  • Proven ability to analyze data and draw appropriate conclusions
  • Ability to interact respectfully and politely with customers and team members
  • Must pass a Level 1 and Level 2 background check
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must function independently and work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies
  • Must be able to work with patrons of different ages and abilities, including those experiencing emotional distress or displaying a hostile attitude
  • Valid driver's license and MVR background check required for delivery locations only
  • Must be able to move throughout the entire facility, including tight spaces
  • Ability to communicate and exchange sensitive information
  • Ability to observe and inspect details at varying ranges
  • Ability to manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, carry, and position objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to ascend and descend stools, ladders, and steps
  • Ability to crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl, and position self or objects at floor level
  • Visual and auditory acuity with or without aids
  • Occasionally remain seated
