About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist the General Manager/Assistant General Manager with leadership and supervision of store personnel
  • Achieve key performance metrics and ensure efficient daily store operations
  • Ensure regulatory compliance while delivering exceptional customer experience
  • Perform key-holding supervisor duties related to opening and closing procedures and basic supervision of staff and retail processes
  • Maintain brand standards in visual merchandising
  • Ensure compliance with state-specific regulations
  • Review, communicate, and ensure compliance with company SOPs and communicate changes to employees
  • Provide coaching, training, and development focused on company service standards and accountability
  • Monitor and maintain store inventory
  • Handle and resolve patient issues and escalations
  • Maintain professional working relationships with business partners
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance
  • Perform other tasks assigned by management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma required
  • Prior management experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service area is a plus
  • Prior cash handling experience required
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism to communicate with all levels of management and staff
  • Ability to uphold a strict level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Conversational English required to work effectively with customers and team members, operate electronic equipment, comprehend safety procedures, and utilize telecommunication devices
  • Ability to interact with customers and team members respectfully and politely
  • Valid driver's license required for delivery locations only
  • Must pass an MVR background check for delivery locations only
  • Must pass level 1 and level 2 background checks
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Ability to function independently and work effectively with residents, personnel, and support agencies
  • Ability to relate to and work with patrons of different ages and abilities, including patrons experiencing emotional distress or displaying a hostile attitude
  • Ability to move/traverse throughout the entire facility, including tight spaces
  • Ability to accurately communicate and exchange sensitive information and ideas, observe/inspect details at varying ranges, and operate computing devices
  • Ability to manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights; push/pull, lift/carry, and position objects up to 50 lbs.; ascend/descend stool, ladder, and steps; crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl
  • Visual and auditory acuity with or without job aids
  • Ability to occasionally remain seated
