About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform incoming inspections of flower and pre-roll batches, including moisture, texture, quality, size, and sorting
  • Weigh and package flower, fresh frozen, and trim during and after machine operation
  • Perform auxiliary duties such as filling socks, retrieving material, and monitoring ovens
  • Support Extraction Technician II in extraction and production operations
  • Perform basic machine setup, inventory documentation, and recording of operational metrics
  • Conduct routine equipment checks and minor adjustments
  • Complete paperwork checks and preventive-maintenance documentation; report equipment issues
  • Ensure sealing machines operate correctly and seals meet standards
  • Clean equipment, supplies, and work areas according to cGMP and Trulieve standards
  • Maintain detailed task records for documentation and traceability
  • Collaborate with Facilities and Maintenance and leadership to resolve documentation and equipment issues
  • Monitor equipment performance against SOPs and escalate anomalies or concerns
  • Notify leads of quality, machine-operation, and material challenges and document fixes
  • Perform other duties assigned by management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Controls and instrumentation experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum age of 21, or 18 in CT, PA, and WV
  • Successful completion of a comprehensive background screening
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced controlled environment
  • Ability to work with chemicals, oils, sharp objects, cannabis flower, and particulates
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, move, and/or carry at least 50 lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and over 50 feet
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision and pressure
  • Ability to manage changes in the working schedule
  • SAP/Emaint/state-mandated system entry experience preferred, including Metrc, Biotrack, or MJ Freeway
  • Outstanding communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on safety
  • Ability to work seated or standing for extended periods and perform climbing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and frequent hand movements
  • Ability to handle organic matter daily and wear required PPE
  • Visual acuity for reading, computer terminals, and detailed inspections in day and night conditions
  • Proven mechanical and problem-solving aptitude
  • Ability to communicate verbally at conversation level with coworkers and leadership
  • Ability to work in moderate noise
  • Availability for 40+ hours weekly, occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
