About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Inspect all plants and rooms across the assigned facility
  • Complete spray assignments as assigned by management
  • Assess and document plant health, pest issues, and grow-room cleanliness in daily reports distributed by email and Trulieve SharePoint
  • Take plant samples to identify pests or plant-health issues
  • Partner with staff and management to identify cultivation problems and develop and implement solutions
  • Research pests and plant-health issues and improve compliant treatment methods
  • Independently inspect all facility rooms efficiently before the light cycle switches off
  • Prepare and deliver verbal presentations for weekly management meetings
  • Clean and maintain equipment needed for assigned tasks
  • Provide support in flower, veg, mom, propagation, harvest, and post-harvest areas as business needs require
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be able to pass respirator fit testing
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Punctual
  • Cultivation experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 21 years of age, or at least 18 in CT, PA, and WV
  • Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening
  • Must handle organic matter daily and wear appropriate PPE
  • Must tolerate hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE, including temperatures of 95 degrees or greater
  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift at least 50 lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and carry or move it at least 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
  • Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods and perform climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, repetitive movements, and reaching
  • Must be able to perform frequent or constant hand, wrist, finger, and elbow movements
  • Must have visual acuity for reading, computer-terminal viewing, and detailed visual inspection in day and night/dark conditions
  • Must be able to communicate verbally with coworkers and vendors in moderate noise
