About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with the General Manager to plan and implement strategies to drive service standards and positive sales results
Maintain brand standards in visual merchandising
Ensure consistent regulatory compliance with all state-specific regulations
Review, communicate, and ensure compliance with company SOPs
Communicate changes to employees with the General Manager and other leaders
Provide coaching, training, and development to the team
Monitor and maintain store inventory
Handle and resolve patient issues and escalations when on duty
Maintain professional relationships with business partners
Assist the General Manager in managing the labor budget
Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance
Perform other tasks assigned by management
Support efficient daily retail store operations and customer experience

Requirements

What you’ll need

Two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Prior management experience, preferably in retail and/or customer service
Prior cash handling experience
Ability to train, develop, and evaluate a team of 40+ employees
Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
Conversational English proficiency
Ability to operate electronic equipment including computers, scanners, printers, and telecommunication devices
Ability to analyze data and draw appropriate conclusions
Ability to interact respectfully and politely with customers and team members
Valid driver’s license and MVR background check required for delivery locations only
Ability to pass level 1 and level 2 background checks
Must be at least 21 years of age
Ability to function independently with flexibility and personal integrity
Ability to work with patrons of different ages and abilities, including those experiencing emotional distress or displaying hostility
Ability to move throughout the facility and work in tight spaces
Ability to push, pull, lift, carry, and position objects up to 50 lbs.
Ability to ascend and descend stools, ladders, and steps
Visual and auditory acuity, with or without aids
