About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Extraction Technician I is responsible for support of extraction and production operations
- Ensure incoming inspections (moisture, texture, overall quality, size through sort, etc.) of incoming batches of flower and pre roll material are being performed
- Ensure proper bud size per brand standard, weigh out and package flower, fresh frozen, and/or trim during and after machine operation
- Perform auxiliary duties (fill socks, retrieve material, monitor ovens, etc.) and support the Extraction Technician II in operations
- Conduct and document routine equipment checks and minor adjustments during operations
- Submit any issues with equipment to leads and Facilities and Maintenance
- Ensure cleaning processes for equipment, supplies, area, and verification paperwork is filled out
- Maintain detailed records of completed tasks for documentation and traceability
- Collaborate with the facilities and maintenance team and leadership to resolve any issues and questions in the documentation
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV)
- Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening
- Controls and instrumentation experience
- Ensure timeliness of return from breaks
- Work in a fast-paced controlled environment
- Work with chemicals, oils, and sharp objects
- Be able to lift 50 lbs
- Able to work under minimum supervision
- Able to work under pressure
- Able to manage changes in working schedule
- SAP/Emaint/state mandated system (Metrc, Biotrack, MJ Freeway) entry experience preferred
- Outstanding communication, documentation, and organizational skills
