About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the project plan for assigned product programs from intake through launch, including timelines, milestones, and cross‑functional dependencies
- Run Stage Gate reviews for active programs, tracking deliverables at each phase and escalating blockers before they become delays
- Coordinate across Operations, R&D, Regulatory, Packaging, and Retail to keep program workstreams moving in parallel
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date program documentation including launch calendars, milestone trackers, and action logs
- Identify gaps in launch plans and enforce timelines with supporting teams, knowing when to escalate and when to solve issues directly
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5 years of project management experience in CPG, food and beverage, consumer electronics, or a comparable physical products environment
- Demonstrated experience managing products through a structured development process (Stage Gate or equivalent) from brief to launch
- Familiarity with manufacturing workflows, BOM development, supplier coordination, or contract manufacturing operations
- Strong working knowledge of project management tools; Smartsheets proficiency preferred (Asana, Wrike, or similar acceptable)
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent programs across different timelines without losing grip on the details
- Clear, direct communicator who writes concise updates, runs efficient meetings, and drives decisions
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- PREFERRED: Experience in cannabis, specialty pharma, or another regulated consumer goods category
- Exposure to retail or wholesale channel coordination in multi‑state or multi‑door distribution environments
