About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The Production Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure Production is efficient, on time, and within budget.
  • Monitoring production plans and schedules and adjusting as necessary to meet demand.
  • Use metrics to assess efficiency and make informed decisions about production and inventory management.
  • Maintain strict inventory records of all plant materials, chemicals, and equipment in laboratory.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policy by conducting regular audits and implementing safety protocols.
  • Ensure that products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement quality control processes and collaborate with the quality team to maintain high product standards.
  • Help organize and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives, empowering team members to identify opportunities and provide solutions in the manufacturing space.
  • Work closely with procurement, logistics, and other supporting departments to ensure seamless operations and availability of materials.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must understand proper and safe handling and disposal of harmful chemicals, substances, and hazardous wastes.
  • Knowledge of quality standards and processes to ensure products meet or exceed expectations.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a team, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
  • Must have the ability to oversee multiple manufacturing processes, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Capabilities with our computer systems, software, and hardware common to laboratories, recordkeeping procedures.
  • A thorough understanding of state and local medical marijuana laws and how they apply to the operations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
  • Strong consultative and partnership skills.
