About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

The Production Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all manufacturing operations.
Ensure Production is efficient, on time, and within budget.
Monitoring production plans and schedules and adjusting as necessary to meet demand.
Use metrics to assess efficiency and make informed decisions about production and inventory management.
Maintain strict inventory records of all plant materials, chemicals, and equipment in laboratory.
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policy by conducting regular audits and implementing safety protocols.
Ensure that products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Implement quality control processes and collaborate with the quality team to maintain high product standards.
Help organize and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives, empowering team members to identify opportunities and provide solutions in the manufacturing space.
Work closely with procurement, logistics, and other supporting departments to ensure seamless operations and availability of materials.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must understand proper and safe handling and disposal of harmful chemicals, substances, and hazardous wastes.
Knowledge of quality standards and processes to ensure products meet or exceed expectations.
Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a team, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
Must have the ability to oversee multiple manufacturing processes, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
Capabilities with our computer systems, software, and hardware common to laboratories, recordkeeping procedures.
A thorough understanding of state and local medical marijuana laws and how they apply to the operations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
Strong consultative and partnership skills.
