About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee all installation, repair and upkeep operations of the company’s processing/cultivation facilities
Ensure that colleagues have the best physical resources available to complete their duties according to budget
Oversee staffing for various locations across the enterprise
Manage the HVAC manager of maintaining PM’s and service of facilities
Responsible for maintaining warranty programs with equipment vendors and parts staff
Develop maintenance procedures (Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and SWI’s Standard Work Instructions (SWI’s)) and ensure implementation
Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
Check electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality
Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
Allocate workload and supervise upkeep staff (technicians/vendors etc.)
Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance
Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
Ensure health and safety policies are complied with

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or GED
At least 5 years of trades experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
Possession of a current EPA Universal Refrigerant Recovery Certification
Has completed formal HVAC training either through an academic program or apprenticeship
Must be at least 21 years of age and eligible to work in the US
Must be able to pass a background screening
Proven experience as maintenance manager or other related managerial role
Experience in planning maintenance operations
Solid understanding of technical aspects of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems etc.
Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
Ability to keep track of and report on activity
