About the role
- Oversee all installation, repair and upkeep operations of the company’s processing/cultivation facilities
- Ensure that colleagues have the best physical resources available to complete their duties according to budget
- Oversee staffing for various locations across the enterprise
- Manage the HVAC manager of maintaining PM’s and service of facilities
- Responsible for maintaining warranty programs with equipment vendors and parts staff
- Develop maintenance procedures (Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and SWI’s Standard Work Instructions (SWI’s)) and ensure implementation
- Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
- Check electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality
- Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
- Allocate workload and supervise upkeep staff (technicians/vendors etc.)
- Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
- Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance
- Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
- Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
- Ensure health and safety policies are complied with
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 5 years of trades experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
- Possession of a current EPA Universal Refrigerant Recovery Certification
- Has completed formal HVAC training either through an academic program or apprenticeship
- Must be at least 21 years of age and eligible to work in the US
- Must be able to pass a background screening
- Proven experience as maintenance manager or other related managerial role
- Experience in planning maintenance operations
- Solid understanding of technical aspects of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems etc.
- Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment
- Ability to keep track of and report on activity
