About the role

  • The Sales Activation Manager is responsible for leading a team of Sales Activators who serve as the front-line drivers of distribution, merchandising, and retail engagement.
  • Set performance goals, provide coaching, and track results to ensure alignment with sales and marketing objectives.
  • Lead the team in executing distribution gains, new item sell-ins, and promotional activity across assigned accounts.
  • Partner with distributor sales teams to increase points of distribution and sales velocity.
  • Direct the execution of in-store activations, sampling events, and grassroots campaigns that build consumer awareness and trial.
  • Monitor KPIs including sales growth, market share, distribution gains, and merchandising compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in sales, brand activation, or field leadership, including 3+ years managing multi-market teams
  • Proven success in retail account management, distributor collaboration, and merchandising execution
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to turn insights into action
  • Experience in regulated industries such as cannabis, alcohol, or CPG is strongly preferred
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to Travel as needed to support business and team goals.
