The Sales Activation Manager is responsible for leading a team of Sales Activators who serve as the front-line drivers of distribution, merchandising, and retail engagement.
Set performance goals, provide coaching, and track results to ensure alignment with sales and marketing objectives.
Lead the team in executing distribution gains, new item sell-ins, and promotional activity across assigned accounts.
Partner with distributor sales teams to increase points of distribution and sales velocity.
Direct the execution of in-store activations, sampling events, and grassroots campaigns that build consumer awareness and trial.
Monitor KPIs including sales growth, market share, distribution gains, and merchandising compliance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
7+ years of experience in sales, brand activation, or field leadership, including 3+ years managing multi-market teams
Proven success in retail account management, distributor collaboration, and merchandising execution
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
Data-driven mindset with the ability to turn insights into action
Experience in regulated industries such as cannabis, alcohol, or CPG is strongly preferred
Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license
Willingness to Travel as needed to support business and team goals.
