About the role
- Report to the State & Local Tax Manager
- Respond to inquiries from taxing authorities as well as internal departments and external business partners
- Assist with Indirect Tax return preparation and filing
- General ledger balance sheet reconciliations
- Other duties as assigned by manager
- Work for Trulieve, a medical cannabis company offering patient-focused products
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills including pivots and v-lookups
- Experience using tax software and ERP systems a plus but not required
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Flexible, deadline driven, able to operate in a constantly changing environment
- Will be available after hours if an emergency situation should arise
