About the role
- Manage a team of business user acceptance testers.
- Provide strategic leadership, directing short-term and long-range planning and budget development.
- Responsible for managing and leading people effectively.
- Advocate for test quality and consistency.
- Resolve issues that impede testing effort.
- Ensure compliance within processes to address federal and state regulations.
- Work closely with other key members of the Center of Enablement team.
- Focus on growing the capabilities and skills of user acceptance testing teammates.
- Promote adoption of Agile practices, tools, and approaches.
- Participate in various departmental projects.
- Identify potential areas of process/system improvement and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or a minimum of five years of equivalent work related experience.
- Adaptable, flexible, and with strong problem solving skills.
- Highly analytical and organized, with an inherent understanding of how to prioritize multiple important initiatives and drive a team to achieve the necessary timelines.
- Demonstrated success in leading and coaching a diverse staff of qualified professionals.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to lead executive level meetings.
- Conceptual ability to analyze problems and devise solutions.
- Effective in building and maintaining strong relationships across multiple levels of an organization.
- Ability to understand complex business processes with multiple variables, and to communicate and share knowledge with teammates in an effective manner.
