About the role

  • Provides legal advice on the design, governance, and administration of executive compensation programs
  • advises senior leadership and partners closely with Human Resources on compensation-related matters
  • monitors legal developments affecting compensation programs
  • proactively identifies legal risk and advises internal clients on emerging risks
  • supports compensation-program governance,
  • partners closely with Corporate and Securities attorneys on executive compensation and benefits matters
  • leads and develops other legal professionals

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school
  • licensed to practice law in good standing
  • ten years of post-bar experience in a law firm, government, and/or corporate settings
  • possess superior written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to prioritize matters and utilize time management skills
  • able to handle a heavy workload and effectively manage stress
  • able to work autonomously without close supervision
  • team-oriented mentality and excellent interpersonal skills
  • demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office
