About the role
- Provides legal advice on the design, governance, and administration of executive compensation programs
- advises senior leadership and partners closely with Human Resources on compensation-related matters
- monitors legal developments affecting compensation programs
- proactively identifies legal risk and advises internal clients on emerging risks
- supports compensation-program governance,
- partners closely with Corporate and Securities attorneys on executive compensation and benefits matters
- leads and develops other legal professionals
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school
- licensed to practice law in good standing
- ten years of post-bar experience in a law firm, government, and/or corporate settings
- possess superior written and verbal communication skills
- ability to prioritize matters and utilize time management skills
- able to handle a heavy workload and effectively manage stress
- able to work autonomously without close supervision
- team-oriented mentality and excellent interpersonal skills
- demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office
