About the role

  • Deliver highly complex solutions with significant system linkages, dependencies, associated risk
  • Lead and perform development efforts such as analysis, design, coding/creating, and testing
  • Build high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices
  • Work with product owners to understand detailed requirements
  • Help design and implement new products and features while enhancing existing product suite
  • Review, develop, test, remediate defects and implement application specific development requests
  • Provide request review and feedback to product owners
  • Technical expert on the team, addressing complex issues but without management responsibilities
  • Act as an Agile champion in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and six to ten years of experience or equivalent education and software engineering training or experience
  • In-depth knowledge in information systems and ability to identify, apply, and implement best practices
  • Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function
  • Ability to plan and manage projects and solve complex problems by applying best practices
  • Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates
  • Ability to interpret and convey complex, difficult, or sensitive information.
