About the role
- Provides oversight for projects and/or segments of large programs
- Partners with business leaders in understanding IT processes and restrictions
- Provides strategic direction for the enterprise data platform
- Leads the development and operation of enterprise data platforms
- Applies deep knowledge of lakehouse-based architectures
- Monitors team progress relative to objectives
- Manages performance and provides coaching
- Ensures projects are delivered according to policies and procedures
- Works closely with senior leaders within Enterprise Technology
- Organizes, plans, and manages projects
- Identifies and resolves challenges
- Has full management responsibilities for teammates
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and ten years of experience managing complex IT projects or equivalent education
- Demonstrated experience in project management/delivery teams
- Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and implement best practices
- Knowledge of technology structures
- Knowledge of business process reengineering and operations
- Strong business acumen and domain expertise in the assigned portfolio
- Ability to lead complex projects
- Ability to exercise judgment in solving challenges
- Ability to influence and negotiate for agreement
- Functional and technical knowledge of Data, Analytics and Client data capabilities
