About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own large, merchant-facing features from inception to completion.
Collaborate with the product, go-to-market, and design teams to set the direction of the merchant experience.
Collaborate on code reviews and technical design documents to ensure the consistent application of best practices across relevant domains.
Actively contribute to building the team’s architectural vision and technical roadmap.
Drive engineering excellence through best practices in testing, monitoring, observability, and performance optimization.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Senior level experience on a great engineering team working with a variety of technologies, and have increasingly impactful accomplishments.
Demonstrated experience working in a full-stack position with technologies such as Python, Django, NextJS, React, and Typescript.
Hands-on experience in metrics instrumentation and data-driven performance tuning using tools like Datadog.
Experience designing, using and expanding back end APIs and data models.
Experience proposing improvements, experimenting, and iterating on existing systems.
Bonus — experience with payments systems and infrastructure.
