About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the end-to-end merchant experience: from developer onboarding and API integration through payment operations, revenue reconciliation, dispute management, and merchant dashboards
Own the developer platform roadmap: API design, documentation, sandbox environments, and integration tooling that reduce time-to-first-sale
Partner with engineering to design and ship platform integrations
Serve as the voice of the merchant — synthesizing feedback from sales, merchant support, and direct merchant conversations into a prioritized roadmap
Define success metrics for merchant health and instrument the systems needed to track them
Navigate the intersection of payments infrastructure and compliance requirements
Drive cross-functional alignment across sales, customer support, and engineering to ensure smooth merchant launches and ongoing partner success

Requirements

What you’ll need

Developer or merchant-facing experience: 3–5 years in product management, solutions engineering, developer relations, or a technical customer-facing role.
API fluency: You've worked on or with REST APIs.
Operator mindset: You think about what merchants need to run their business — reconciliation, reporting, dispute resolution.
Communication as a superpower: You're the person who can take a complex technical concept and make it immediately clear to a non-technical merchant or executive.
Bias for action: You default to shipping something and learning, not waiting for perfect specs.
AI-fluent: You use LLMs to move faster and you think about how AI can improve the products you build.
