Lead, mentor, and grow a team of full-stack engineers working on health surveys, checkout, payments, and marketplace products
Hire and retain top engineering talent and participate in performance reviews, coaching, and professional development
Foster a culture of ownership, experimentation, continuous improvement, and learning
Drive the technical roadmap for the team by working with product managers to balance new features, technical debt, bug fixes, performance, and reliability
Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Analytics to set priorities, scope initiatives, sequence work, and define success metrics
Proven experience managing engineers (3+ years preferred), including experience hiring, coaching, and growing engineers
Excellent at working with Product: capable of translating business goals to engineering work, negotiating trade-offs, and sequencing appropriately
A bias toward shipping, iterating, and delivering value quickly
Strong technical foundation: comfortable with full-stack technologies and architecture, with a deeper knowledge of front end architecture patterns preferred
Familiar with A/B testing, experimentation, or data-driven decision making
Experience in payment / checkout / e-commerce / marketplace systems is a major plus
