About the role

  • Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring stock levels and ensuring that inventory is maintained at optimal levels.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts and audits to verify accuracy between system records and actual stock.
  • Assist in resolving discrepancies between physical counts and inventory records.
  • Monitor slow-moving and obsolete stock and provide recommendations for disposal or movement.
  • Data Entry & Record Keeping: Update and maintain accurate inventory records in the inventory management system.
  • Ensure that all transactions (receiving, transfers, adjustments) are properly recorded.
  • Assist with generating reports on inventory status, shortages, overages, and reorder levels.
  • Receiving & Shipping Support: Assist with receiving incoming shipments by verifying quantities and item descriptions against purchase orders.
  • Ensure that inventory is properly labeled, stored, and located in designated storage areas.
  • Work with the shipping team to ensure timely and accurate picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
  • Inventory Control & Accuracy: Support the implementation of inventory control procedures and policies to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Conduct periodic cycle counts and reconcile any inventory variances.
  • Assist with the analysis of inventory trends and discrepancies.
