About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide client and advisor support
  • Coordinate projects between internal teams
  • Develop planning and investment content
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM information for client interactions, opportunities, meetings, and referral activity
  • Work alongside a senior advisor to deliver wealth and investment planning services to clients
  • Prepare for, attend, and follow up on client meetings, including generating meeting materials and documenting meeting details
  • Act as project manager and liaison between clients, senior advisors, operations, and trading teams
  • Develop solutions to complex tax, estate, retirement, investment, and insurance questions, utilizing internal teams as necessary
  • Track and oversee timely completion of client requests and deliverables
  • Support the senior advisor in enhancing client engagement through proactive touchpoints
  • Ensure wealth planning projects are properly executed and documented in the CRM
  • Enhance planning and investment knowledge through work output, self-study, and firm-led trainings

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in personal financial planning, accounting, economics, finance, or related field(s)
  • Successful passing of CFA Level I exam or the CFP® exam required
  • A minimum of 1 year of financial planning or wealth management experience required
  • Experience working with ultra-high net worth clientele preferred
  • Experience with financial planning systems: Money Guide Pro, eMoney, Vanilla, and Holistiplan preferred
  • Experience with reporting systems: Tamarac and Addepar preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize workload
  • Confident self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial atmosphere and believes in a team approach to client service
  • Must consent to and have favorable credit report and background check
  • Ability to consistently display True North’s Core Values
