Human Resources Intern

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review applications and assist with candidate screening
- Prepare onboarding materials and new hire packets
- Assist with orientation preparation and employee onboarding activities
- Maintain employee personnel files and electronic records
- Assist with document scanning, filing, and record retention activities
- Update employee information in HRIS
- Track required employee certifications and licenses
- Support compliance initiatives related to healthcare regulations and policies
- Participate in strategic planning sessions to enhance HR processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be a student in good standing in degree programs related to Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or Organizational Leadership
- Previous administrative or customer service experience preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with HRIS systems is a plus
