About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide leadership and management of projects and programs for Ensero clients
- Provide senior technical direction on projects
- Lead water use licensing, environmental permitting applications, and studies
- Collaborate with technical teams to improve project environmental design and streamline regulatory processes
- Develop integrated project schedules and critical paths for project implementation
- Provide technical support regarding environmental compliance, governance, and permitting
- Communicate with governments, stakeholders, and communities to advance permitting activities
- Represent Ensero Solutions and clients in regulatory and community meetings, workshops, and events
- Monitor legislation and regulatory changes and disseminate regulatory information internally
- Develop industry relationships to support growth and strategic initiatives
- Support client proposals and explore business development opportunities
- Conduct senior reviews of technical deliverables and programs
- Mentor and provide technical training to junior and intermediate team members
- Complete reporting and other assigned tasks
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting, A/E/C, or a relevant industry
- Experience building relationships and engaging with First Nations and all levels of government
- Knowledge of and experience with Yukon, NWT, Nunavut, BC, and other jurisdictions’ impact assessment and licensing regimes for resource development projects
- Ability to work effectively with team members and lead multidisciplinary projects
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and other business software
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders at all levels
