About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in all aspects of site investigation and remediation, from the proposal stage, through preparation of workplans, conducting field work, and writing summary reports, to final remedial documents
- Field work will include oversight of subcontractors, including drillers and other laborers, during soil boring advancement, monitoring well installation, excavation activities, and remedial construction activities; and sampling various media including soil, groundwater, sediment, soil vapor and air
- Perform Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessments in accordance with ASTM E1527.
- Prepare summary reports including reviewing laboratory analytical data; interpreting and tabulating data and preparing tables; soil boring logs; figures; and text
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Enviornmental Science or related environmental degree
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record, and be willing to travel and conduct field work
- Experience working effectively with team members as well as independently
- Strong quantitative/math and analytical skills
- Core competency in Microsoft Office Products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail
- Must be able to wear a respirator
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to DOT regulated random drug testing
