About the role
- Provide continuous remote monitoring and real-time decision-making for autonomous vehicles under constant supervision
- Critical thinking to ensuring fleet safety and reliability during the transition to fully driverless operations — without an onboard safety engineer
- Actively monitor an assigned vehicle using the Remote Command (RC) interface and multiple camera feeds
- Proactively intervene when necessary, using system tools
- Log all interventions and key observations in real time (Notion/Google Sheets)
- Conduct post-trip reviews and flag any anomalies
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) sessions and contribute to the edge-case knowledge base
- Track and report operational metrics
- Ensure a clean shift handoff by communicating key context to the incoming Shift Lead
Requirements
- Experience in technical support, dispatch, or operations (e.g., IT, transportation)
- Strong decision-making skills under pressure
- High attention to detail and disciplined documentation practices
- Basic understanding of autonomous vehicle systems or a strong willingness to learn
- Preferred: Experience with geolocation tools or Remote Command (RC) interfaces
- Familiarity with perception and planning concepts in autonomous systems
- Skills in log analysis or working with event data
