About the role

  • Support the day to day plant and equipment improvement
  • Focus on Engineering Projects and Capital spends
  • Provide technical input on current procedures and activities
  • Gather best-in-class solutions locally and globally
  • Develop specific domain expertise in a technical element of the process
  • Responsible for all technical aspects of the manufacturing facility
  • Manage facility engineering functions and all safety practices
  • Support corporate EH&S programs and policies
  • Develop site engineering strategic plans including annual capital investment budgeting
  • Manage capital projects including budget compliance
  • Supervise, develop, and coordinate maintenance personnel training
  • Provide leadership and performance management to employees
  • Partner with site and corporate functions in executing process improvement and optimization initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a highly technical manufacturing operation
  • Supervisory & Leadership Experience
  • Hands on experience with Engineering/Maintenance Systems & Programs
  • Strong project management skills
  • Working knowledge and understanding of EPA, GMP, OSHA and DOT regulation
  • Able to solve complex problems outside of normal processes
  • Excellent management / leadership aptitude
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics / prints
  • Development and implementation of preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
