About the role
- Taking the lead in working with internal functions, customers, and third-party providers for trade compliance and logistics management
- Providing guidance and support for adherence with International Trade Compliance (ITC) and Incoterms
- Ensure company dispatch documentation is compliant
- Work with couriers and Customs for product shipping and importing
- Provide Customs brokers with import clearance instructions
- Store and maintain accurate record keeping activities in respect to import and export compliance
- Liaise with Regulatory Authorities
- Prepare and submit voluntary declarations if required
Requirements
- Knowledge of Trade Compliance laws, regulations and ISO requirements
- Demonstrable experience and knowledge of export and customs compliance
- Proactive, results focused and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent IT and system skills – including MS Office, database and ERP systems
- Previous experience in design and delivery of staff training is desirable
- Excellent communication and written skills
