About the role
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive digital transformation strategy aligned with the company’s long-term business goals.
- Partner with business units and act as an IT Business Relationship Manager to understand needs, build trust, and translate requirements into effective digital capabilities.
- Drive modernization across disparate enterprise ERP systems, ensuring integration, interoperability, and process standardization.
- Oversee enterprise data warehouse, business intelligence, and analytics initiatives to strengthen insights, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
- Implement and steward enterprise data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance across all digital platforms.
- Identify, prioritize, and execute opportunities for operational efficiency, process improvement, and automation across the A&D manufacturing value chain.
- Lead the adoption of emerging technologies—including cloud platforms, AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics—to improve business performance.
- Ensure successful deployment of digital solutions that enhance operational reliability, supply chain performance, manufacturing throughput, and customer engagement.
- Monitor industry trends, especially within aerospace and defense manufacturing, to inform strategy and maintain competitive advantage.
- Manage digital transformation budgets, ensuring responsible financial planning and cost-effective execution.
- Define performance metrics and KPIs to measure the impact and ROI of transformation initiatives.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key technology partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with data security, cybersecurity, regulatory, and export control requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing digital transformation team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Communicate progress, challenges, and outcomes to senior leadership and executive stakeholders with clarity and strategic insight.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in digital transformation, IT leadership, or enterprise technology roles.
- Strong background in aerospace & defense or complex manufacturing environments.
- Proven experience integrating and optimizing disparate ERP systems within enterprise operations.
- Demonstrated leadership in building or modernizing enterprise data warehouses, BI platforms, and analytics ecosystems.
- Experience implementing data governance frameworks and driving data stewardship across the organization.
- Track record of managing large-scale digital transformation initiatives from strategy through execution.
- Deep knowledge of cloud computing, AI/ML, automation, and modern data architectures.
- Strong capabilities in change management, process improvement, and operational transformation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex digital and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in budget planning, financial management, and cost optimization for technology programs.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to align technology strategies with organizational priorities.
- Exceptional leadership, team-building, and talent development skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple Operating Companies and build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Experience developing digital roadmaps and guiding organizations through multi-year transformation journeys.
