About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS
- Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to support efficient software delivery
- Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters for scalability and high availability
- Develop and maintain Helm charts for containerized application deployments
- Manage and support production Kafka environments
- Partner with development teams to improve application reliability, security, and performance
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory requirements
- Monitor system health and performance, identifying opportunities for optimization
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes
- Lead technical initiatives and recommend platform improvements and architectural enhancements
- Define and implement Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Service Level Indicators (SLIs)
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues, performing root cause analysis
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies that improve operational efficiency and platform reliability
- Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience supporting and troubleshooting enterprise IT environments
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, EKS, ECS, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Route53, KMS, and Secrets Manager
- Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments
- Proficiency creating and maintaining Helm charts
- Experience supporting and administering Kafka clusters
- Recent experience using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines in production environments
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and hybrid cloud architectures
- Experience working within Agile software development teams
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to create and maintain clear technical documentation
- Excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- AWS or related cloud certifications are highly desirable
- Eagerness to continuously learn and expand technical expertise
- High level of integrity, accountability, and ownership.
