About the role

  • Lead in-depth analyses of customer usage, product adoption, financial performance, and operational metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success Managers and clients during onboarding to validate model results, scrub and map data, and deliver actionable recommendations.
  • Partner with product managers to define KPIs and measure the impact of product changes.
  • Create advanced dashboards and interactive reports using tools like Power BI and Tableau to support executive decision-making.
  • Aggregate data from multiple systems to provide comprehensive insights and support strategic initiatives.
  • Implement and document processes to ensure data integrity, governance, and reporting accuracy.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in transportation data and contribute to the development of the organization’s long-term data strategy and roadmap.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and support for compliance, legal audits, and discovery requests.
  • Collaborate with technology and business partners to promote automation and deliver successful reporting-related projects.
  • Mentor junior analysts and business analysts, promoting best practices and professional development.
  • Create board-level reports and contribute to strategic presentations for senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5–8 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data warehousing.
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and in customer-facing roles.
  • Strong track record of delivering insights that influence business and product strategy.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Snowflake).
  • Proficiency in Python coding.
  • Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, and macros.
  • Familiarity with ETL tools and data pipelines.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) preferred.
  • Knowledge of data warehouse concepts, dimensional modeling, and semantic layers.
  • Experience in BI tools such as Power BI or Looker.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and external clients.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic and ability to mentor others.
