About the role

  • Support the full data modeling lifecycle—from conceptual business models to physical implementations—ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with enterprise data standards.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and Product Owners to define conceptual models that reflect real business processes and terminology
  • Develop logical data models including entities, attributes, constraints, and relationships
  • Translate logical models into physical schemas for relational, columnar, or lakehouse environments
  • Perform robust data profiling to assess quality, identify anomalies, and quantify data quality metrics
  • Support model-to-source and model-to-target mappings
  • Validate performance, scalability, and security considerations for physical models
  • Maintain data dictionaries, lineage documentation, and metadata artifacts
  • Assist Data Governance teams with taxonomy alignment, naming standards, and quality rules
  • Participate in design reviews, change control processes, and governance forums
  • Provide impact analysis for any structural or semantic data changes

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in data analysis, data modeling, or related advanced data roles
  • Strong expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling
  • Experience with data profiling techniques and data quality frameworks
  • Ability to translate business requirements into structured data artifacts
  • Proficiency with SQL and data analysis methods
  • Working knowledge of governance, metadata management, and lineage
  • Excellent communication skills across both business and technical audiences
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or related field
  • Data modeling or data governance certifications are beneficial but not required
