Finance Operations Manager – 12m Contract
TripteaseFinance Operations Manager at Triptease managing day-to-day finance operations for multiple entities across different countries. Leading payroll, accounts payable, and financial process improvement initiatives.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- End-to-end management of the payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely execution across all entities.(UK, Spain, Portugal, USA, Singapore and contractors)
- Oversight of the AP function, ensuring invoices are processed, approved and paid accurately and on time.
- Assisting the FC and the FD to deliver a migration to Rippling for HR and Payroll and then a migration away from Xero to a more sophisticated finance system.
- Processing of Sales Tax and VAT submissions.
- Pensions, Payroll & PAYE control account reconciliations
- Wages analysis to support headcount reporting and cost control.
- Preparation and maintenance of cost analysis files, identifying variances to budget and providing clear explanations.
- Accruals for missing costs
- Working with the marketing team to record expected income and costs and cashflow timings.
- Daily oversight and management of the Finance Assistant.
- Ad Hoc duties such as responding to operational finance queries from across the business as and when they arise.
- Supporting ad hoc projects and analysis as directed by the Financial Controller or wider finance leadership.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Qualified by experience or Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Actively working towards full qualification is preferable by not essential
- Solid hands-on experience across core operational finance — payroll, AP, VAT/sales tax.
- Experience working within a multi-entity or group structure.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Curious about how AI and automation can improve finance processes and keen to apply this in practice.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Clear and confident communicator and a positive, proactive, can-do attitude with a strong work ethic.
