About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supporting and driving robust strategy efforts for key areas of the business to determine traveler/partner/market needs, understand competitive positioning, identify potential paths forward, and set the right strategy for Tripadvisor
- Driving quarterly
- Working with teams to execute by ensuring necessary resourcing and a clear understanding of roles, metrics, milestones, and activities
- Facilitating the performance management cadence to ensure progress across all metrics and milestones, and create transparency into status, barriers, etc.
- Supporting strategy team leaders and key business leaders as they execute the plan for each initiative to overcome barriers, solve problems, re-allocate resources, and adjust as needed based on internal and external factors
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-5+ years experience in Strategy roles operating within a top-tier consulting firm with a strong command of the analytical, financial, and strategic problem-solving toolkit
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with excellent stakeholder management
- An organized, proactive self-starter; able to identify what needs to get done, then willing and able to make it happen
- Ability to embrace change and balance multiple priorities - with strong instincts for and ability to focus on what matters most
- Distinctive written and verbal communication skills - able to synthesize complex topics into clear statements, presentation materials, and plans
- Passion for travel and the role Tripadvisor can play for travelers and our partners
- Experience within the travel and hospitality industry a plus, but not required
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve efficiency, quality, and decision-making in day-to-day work.
- Proven ability to operate effectively with a global-first mindset.
