About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own positioning, go-to-market and always-on core product strategy for the core range and EPD
- Lead market launch execution for NPD alongside the NPD team
- Ensure continuous integration across the brand calendar
- Lead strategy, briefing and cross-channel alignment across PR, Social, Creative, Retail and Digital
- Partner with NPD and Innovation to execute the brand’s gifting strategy
- Build and maintain product marketing frameworks and benchmarks
- Partner with NPD and Regulatory teams on substantiated efficacy-claim messaging
- Set campaign KPIs and manage reporting for NPD, EPD and Core activity
- Lead and develop the Product Marketing Manager and Junior Product Marketing Manager
- Manage the product marketing budget, forecasting and reporting spend against commercial outcomes
- Provide expertise on emerging trends, consumer insight and market dynamics
- Provide input on pricing strategy and brand and product strategy evolution
- Evaluate opportunities through research, analysis, product knowledge and industry strategy
- Lead adoption of AI-enabled practices and embed AI into team workflows and processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience working in beauty and cosmetics brands is essential
- Extensive knowledge and background in beauty product marketing
- Proven leadership and people management experience at Senior Manager or Head level
- Ability to develop and motivate a small, high-performing team
- Ability to develop innovative marketing strategies
- Impactful communication and confident presentation skills
- Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including the founder
- Data-driven mindset
- Proficiency in analytics tools
- Experience setting and reporting against commercial KPIs
- Skilled at building cross-functional partnerships and driving alignment across NPD, Commercial and Digital
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment while balancing detail and prioritisation
