About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support and develop the Patient Support Services research program, functional definitions, and core service offerings
- Generate new business with existing and new clients and identify custom project opportunities
- Build, evolve, and innovate services and offerings with Patient Support Services and other TGaS practices
- Participate in planning exercises and report to senior leadership
- Ensure service quality across supported Patient Support Services clients
- Contribute thought leadership for value-forward selling, white papers, and public relations
- Capture advisory-service insights and data for benchmark services and evolve deliverable formats
- Co-lead and support Patient Support Services projects and benchmarks, including client-site interviews with senior leaders and stakeholders
- Capture quantitative and qualitative client information for TGaS’ database and analysis
- Prepare benchmark reports comparing client resources and capabilities with peer companies and TGaS best practices, including recommendations
- Provide strategic oversight and coordinate cross-functional project activities through successful delivery
- Deliver value through Advisory Services, Virtual-How Network surveys, Client Summits, Landscapes, and ad hoc questions
- Produce timely, high-quality client deliverables with the Analytics/Operations team
- Design, develop, facilitate, and follow up on semi-annual client summits
- Mentor staff and support onboarding, peer review, and managerial duties
- Identify unmet market needs and drive development or enhancement of solutions
- Travel locally, regionally, and nationally an average of 25–40% of the time
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical patient support services
- Experience with or for emerging pharmaceutical companies and setting up patient support services department infrastructure is a plus
- Knowledge of Patient Support Services functions, including PSP/Hub management, FRM teams, affordability solutions, free goods programs, KPIs/reporting/data analytics, data sharing/data feeds, patient engagement and adherence programs, clinical nurse education programs, and patient services technology tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience preparing and supporting formal presentations for senior client audiences
- Track record developing and managing effective internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Team-oriented and collaborative approach
- High integrity and credibility
- Comfort interacting with top executives and business unit leaders
- Ability to consult, problem-solve, work autonomously, and organize complex information into actionable recommendations
- Comfortable with change management and translating complex data requirements or ambiguous direction into completed work
- Local to East Norriton/Philadelphia, PA is a plus
- Ability to travel locally, regionally, and nationally an average of 25–40% of the time
