Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA required within one (1) year of hire
  • High energy
  • Ability to work well in a high-volume environment
  • Alignment with Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Core Values
  • Medical terminology required
  • Knowledge of diagnostic and procedural coding
  • Insurance verification experience with ability to explain benefits
  • Ability to secure necessary authorizations
  • Knowledge of departmental processes and procedures
  • Ability to acquire new knowledge readily
  • Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations
