About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Research, collect, and analyze information
- Identify opportunities, develop solutions, and lead through resolution
- Collaborate on performance improvement activities related to program efficiency and patient experience
- Distribute analytical reports
- Utilize multiple system applications to perform analysis, create reports, and develop educational materials
- Research and compile information to support ad-hoc operational projects and initiatives
- Synthesize and analyze data, providing detailed summaries with graphical presentations of trends
- Recommend practical options or solutions while considering business strategy
- Leverage program and operational data and measurements to define and demonstrate progress, ROI, and impacts
- Maintain knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, Trinity Health compliance requirements, policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Uphold honest, ethical, professional behavior and safe work practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA required within one (1) year of hire
- High energy
- Ability to work well in a high-volume environment
- Alignment with Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Core Values
- Medical terminology required
- Knowledge of diagnostic and procedural coding
- Insurance verification experience with ability to explain benefits
- Ability to secure necessary authorizations
- Knowledge of departmental processes and procedures
- Ability to acquire new knowledge readily
- Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations
- Knowledge of Trinity Health Integrity & Compliance Program and Code of Conduct
