About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple hospital locations and regions
- Assess patients and identify outcomes or solutions
- Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
- Act independently within the RN license, scope of knowledge, and experience
- Maintain accountability for delegation, choices, decisions, and outcomes
- Collaborate with stakeholders and contribute to quality improvement practices and outcomes
- Take on new and additional responsibilities while managing competing priorities
- Provide nursing coverage for short- and long-term assignments across varied practice settings
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Valid RN licensure authorized in applicable state(s) of practice/employment
- Minimum 18 months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele, and PCU
- Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience for Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department, and Behavioral Health
- Current credentials required for the specialty area, such as ACLS and TNCC
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be obtained through the American Heart Association
- Willingness and qualification to float throughout hospitals, locations, and regions
- Ability to act within license, scope of knowledge, and experience
