About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Accountable for the performance and regulatory readiness of large, strategic cross-functional teams
- Collaborates with Service Area, Regions & Health Ministries to ensure consistency & integration of strategy & operations
- Provides decision support, operations & or optimization leadership focus
- Oversees vendor and contract labor management including centralizing strategy & optimizing spend
- Responsible for measuring & reporting KPIs and metrics & value delivery
- Develops necessary infrastructure to achieve current & future departmental goals including organizational structure, staffing, policies & procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare administration or a related field
- Progressive experience in revenue cycle operations, revenue metrics & analytics & revenue management or an equivalent combination of education & experience
- Management experience in a multi-facility, integrated health care delivery system or revenue cycle or consulting experience
- Solid understanding of ICD-10 & CPT coding & medical terminology
- Valid Driver’s License where required by assignment
- Epic experience preferred (nice to have)
- Knowledge of accounting systems & insurance issues, healthcare industry issues & trends, legal issues in field of expertise, required third party & governmental guidelines
