Key responsibilities & impact

Performs daily customer service activities within the hospital revenue operations
Handles customer service activities regarding self-pay and insurance billing
Assists patients in billing issue resolutions
Provides documentation of customer complaints and issues
Tracks trends of customer service encounters
Resolves or escalates customer issues to the Supervisor Customer Service
Maintains knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or Associate's degree in Accounting or Business Administration or related field
Experience of at least one (1) year in related fields
Knowledge of revenue cycle functions and systems
Experience within a hospital, clinic, or healthcare financial service environment
Previous service/call center experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
