About the role
- Perform designated tasks related to the operations of the Therapy Departments
- Assist in patient treatment under the direct supervision of a Licensed Therapist/Therapist Assistant
- Administers basic treatments such as moist heat/cold packs under supervision
- Assists therapist in patient handling tasks using safe body mechanics
- Assists patients in their established therapeutic exercise routine under supervision
- Transports patients to/from therapy sessions
- Completes daily temperature logs on required equipment and documents accurately
- Reports any equipment malfunction through proper channels
- Performs clerical duties as directed
- Rotates through the various therapy areas and anticipates the needs of therapists
- Demonstrates competency via successful completion of annual departmental skills checklist
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 2-4 years of experience preferred
