About the role
- Provides service to the medical staff and hospital leadership
- Assists the medical staff in fulfilling their mission and objectives
- Plays a key role in the implementation of strategic and operating plans
- Promotes all programs and services to referring physicians
- Sets a universal standard for the delivery of patient care
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited medical school (MD or DO is required)
- Completed an accredited residency program in a medical specialty
- Board certification in field of specialty
- Graduate from an accredited university with a Master's in Business Administration, a Masters in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred
- Proven leader with minimum of 15 years in clinical practice and 5 years executive leadership
- Demonstrated ability to lead and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
