Human Resources Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Align business objectives with employees and management by developing and delivering HR initiatives
- Support organizational change and execute people strategies that enable business success
- Lead, coach, and develop the Business Unit HR team through guidance and performance management
- Partner cross-functionally to co-design people strategies and build shared ownership of workforce initiatives
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to Senior Management Team and business leaders
- Champion HR’s dual role as business partner and employee advocate
- Lead employee relations efforts, including resolving complex issues and strengthening workplace relationships
- Develop and execute strategic talent initiatives, including recruitment and workforce planning
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and corporate policies across jurisdictions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of progressive HR experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required
- HR certification or designation preferred
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines
- Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to build, nurture, and sustain a high-performance culture
- Strong coaching, mentorship, and leadership capabilities
- Excellent organizational, time management, and attention to detail skills
- Strong business acumen and operational curiosity
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply applicable laws, regulations, policies, and technical instructions
- Collaborative working style with a willingness to share ownership
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS, ATS, and engagement tracking systems
- Experience with BambooHR, ADP, and Deltek Vantagepoint is considered an asset
- Experience working in professional services or consulting is considered an asset.
