About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Guide and direct the clinical equipment program in a single hospital and/or multiple sites
Direct the work of technicians in assigned locations under the supervision of the Site Manager or Sr. Site Manager
Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify the performance of highly complex medical equipment and systems
Use applicable test equipment and tools to perform duties
Educate clinical staff and others on the technical integration of medical systems
Assist with managing daily team operations, including staff scheduling, scheduled equipment maintenance, and project implementation
Lead, mentor, and influence clinical engineering staff

Requirements

What you’ll need

2 year degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent experience required
The degree requirement is waived for TRIMEDX Trained Certification or an equivalent biomedical related certification program
Technical Certification such as A+, CBET, CRES or CLES preferred
Minimum 5 years’ experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment
CE experience and knowledge
Ability to influence others
Ability to integrate information from a variety of sources
Ability to lead, mentor, and influence clinical engineering staff
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
