About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Guide and direct the clinical equipment program in a single hospital and/or multiple sites
- Direct the work of technicians in assigned locations under the supervision of the Site Manager or Sr. Site Manager
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify the performance of highly complex medical equipment and systems
- Use applicable test equipment and tools to perform duties
- Educate clinical staff and others on the technical integration of medical systems
- Assist with managing daily team operations, including staff scheduling, scheduled equipment maintenance, and project implementation
- Lead, mentor, and influence clinical engineering staff
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2 year degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent experience required
- The degree requirement is waived for TRIMEDX Trained Certification or an equivalent biomedical related certification program
- Technical Certification such as A+, CBET, CRES or CLES preferred
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment
- CE experience and knowledge
- Ability to influence others
- Ability to integrate information from a variety of sources
- Ability to lead, mentor, and influence clinical engineering staff
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
