About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Guide and direct the clinical equipment program in a single hospital and/or multiple sites
  • Direct the work of technicians in assigned locations under the supervision of the Site Manager or Sr. Site Manager
  • Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify the performance of highly complex medical equipment and systems
  • Use applicable test equipment and tools to perform duties
  • Educate clinical staff and others on the technical integration of medical systems
  • Assist with managing daily team operations, including staff scheduling, scheduled equipment maintenance, and project implementation
  • Lead, mentor, and influence clinical engineering staff

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2 year degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent experience required
  • The degree requirement is waived for TRIMEDX Trained Certification or an equivalent biomedical related certification program
  • Technical Certification such as A+, CBET, CRES or CLES preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment
  • CE experience and knowledge
  • Ability to influence others
  • Ability to integrate information from a variety of sources
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and influence clinical engineering staff
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
