About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Participate in the TRIMEDX Clinical Engineering Leadership Program to learn competencies for a Clinical Engineering Site Manager role
  • Lead clinical engineering initiatives and manage execution of the TRIMEDX Medical Equipment Management Plan (MEMP)
  • Manage day-to-day site operations and collaborate with customers
  • Develop associates and provide communication between hospital executives and the TRIMEDX Central Office
  • Learn to direct Joint Commission inspections and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Manage staffing and scheduling of technicians
  • Coach and mentor technicians and provide performance feedback
  • Manage service contracts, resources, demand labor, demand parts, and inventory
  • Investigate technological and process problems and develop continuous-improvement service strategies
  • Manage Joint Commission inspections, prioritize open work orders, and document performance assurance inspections
  • Build customer and vendor relationships and develop win-win solutions
  • Monitor modality financial and performance benchmarks and pursue business-entry opportunities
  • Manage financial performance
  • Perform or learn scheduled maintenance, electrical safety inspections, operation verification, installation, calibration, troubleshooting, service, and repair of medical equipment
  • Advise equipment users and ensure service documentation is complete, timely, and accurate
  • Complete Incoming Inspections to maintain accurate medical-device inventory
  • Travel in two-week cycles and perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, technological, or business field required, or equivalent experience
  • Alternatively, Associate’s degree in engineering or technological discipline with 3 years of clinical engineering experience, or equivalent experience
  • Technical certification such as A+, CBET, CRES, CLES, or CCE is a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to manage day-to-day and long-term site operations
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop others
  • Ability to perform basic financial analysis and calculate budgets, revenue, and costs
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentational communication skills
  • High learning agility and ability to ramp up quickly
  • Ability to learn data insights and share business objectives with customers based on asset data
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Willingness to relocate
