About the role
- Support the operations of the Clinical Engineering Department with respect to medical equipment IT systems
- Respond to and support client integration projects and medical device network configurations
- Monitor and manage the Connected Device Inventory and provide guidance on Clinical Engineering-IT Systems
- Collaborate with vendors and client IT for scheduling and issue resolution
- Document maintenance and project activities in Clinical Asset Maintenance System
Requirements
- 2-year Associates Degree in Electronics or Biomedical Equipment Technology
- Graduate of military BMET training or equivalent technical program
- Networking, Security, SysAdmin or other relevant certifications preferred
- Prior experience in support and service of medical equipment and systems
- Formal clinical equipment manufacturer specific training required
- Expertise with computer operating systems required
- Experience with information systems and networking required
- Working knowledge of HL7, DICOM, TCPIP and other communications protocols required
- Understanding of computer and network security highly desired
- Experience and/or training in project management strongly preferred
