Product Development Specialist – Maternity Contract

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- utilize market trends, buyer input, sales performance and customer metrics to enhance products
- participate in overseas buying trips and manage follow ups
- attend trade shows and perform comp shop with PD Team
- lead negotiation of pricing, delivery, and product sample approvals
- manage sample development process
- maintain constant email communication with offices, agents, and suppliers
- build relationships with sourcing partners for QVC procedures implementation
Requirements
What you’ll need- creativity and knowledge to new product development
- product expertise and negotiation skills for best prices
- critical path management for timely delivery
- product development experience across multiple home classifications
- business knowledge in homeware
- understanding of relevant design systems such as PLM
- ability to travel both domestically and internationally
