About the role
- Oversee Project Management Managers and the Resource Management team
- Ensure consistent project delivery and effective resource allocation
- Direct the activities of assigned staff
- Manage the activities of Project Management Managers and Project Coordinators
- Responsible for the selection and hiring of new employees
- Provide leadership development for Project Management Managers and the Resource Manager
- Lead PMO and operational initiatives and collaborate cross-functionally
- Establish and maintain PMO standards, methodologies, and governance practices across AECO services engagements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve delivery efficiency and predictability
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Technology, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in professional services delivery, project management, PMO leadership, or consulting operations
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing managers and leading large delivery or project management organizations
- Demonstrated experience overseeing enterprise software implementations, transformation programs, or large-scale professional services engagements
- Proven experience managing project delivery portfolios with multiple concurrent engagements and cross-functional teams
- Experience leading or establishing PMO governance frameworks and delivery methodologies
- Strong operational and analytical skills with the ability to monitor delivery performance, identify risks, and drive operational improvements
- Ability to consistently perform assigned work within established deadlines
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 30% as needed across the Americas to support customer and project needs.
