About the role

  • Manage the O&PS Proposal Team supporting the full proposal lifecycle
  • Coach and inspire the proposal management team for high-quality RFx responses
  • Be the process owner for the proposal management system (Trello)
  • Ensure all RFx responses delivered with high quality and by due date
  • Execute established proposal workflows and improve processes
  • Prepare periodic reports of RFP statistics for sector leadership
  • Distribute RFx workload across the team
  • Provide guidance to team members and manage strategic RFx responses
  • Identify and mitigate risks during proposal development
  • Review and refine proposal documents with subject matter experts
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create and quality-check proposals
  • Track proposal outcomes to assess effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in Proposal Creation and Management
  • Three (3) to Five (5) years management experience
  • Highly skilled in using Microsoft Word
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat
  • Formal training and/or certification in industry standard proposal management practices (APMP, Shipley, etc.)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to coordinate and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively
  • Experience working under tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • APMP Certification or similar.
  • Experience with Proposal Management Software (Loopio, RFPio, or similar).
