About the role
- Actively participating in designing electrical systems.
- Documenting calculations for new components and features.
- Validating and testing calculations where required.
- Comfortable performing hand calculations.
- Translating the electrical requirements for the development team to implement.
- Maintain an expert level of calculation knowledge.
- Providing expert knowledge across our teams when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable industry experience
- Proven experience of 3+ years in electrical engineering
- Strong knowledge of LV and HV Electrical calculations, e.g. IEC 60909, BS7671, IEC 60364 etc.
- Able to conduct hand calculations for implementation.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, team working and organisational skills.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Expertise in the Building Services industry in particular electrical software applications.
- Able to escalate and propose solutions
- Good analytical problem solving skills
- Chartered Engineer (preferred)
- Knowledge and experience of Electrical Software Products (preferred)
- Knowledge & Understanding of European regulations such as NEN1010, VDE0100 etc. (preferred)
- Experience of working with CAD products such as Revit (preferred)
- Experience of working in a multinational company (preferred)
- Working under ISO 9001/TickIT Quality System or similar (preferred)
