About the role
- Provide technical guidance and support to third-party developers integrating with Trimble's products and APIs.
- Collaborate with Trimble subject matter experts on product capabilities and best practices
- Ensure that developers are empowered with the latest documentation, and specifications to connect to products within the Trimble ecosystem.
- Collaborate with Trimble product and engineering teams to define requirements for integration tools, SDKs, and API enhancements.
- Troubleshoot technical issues reported by developers during development process
- Foster a thriving community of partners and developers around the Trimble Marketplace by providing technical expertise and support.
- Monitor integration performance, analyze technical data, and make data-driven decisions to optimize the developer experience.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree
- 5-8 years of previous experience in a technical role such as Integration Engineer, Solutions Architect, Developer Advocate, or a similar role focused on API integrations and developer support.
- Proven track record of successfully guiding developers through complex integration processes.
- Experience with end-to-end technical lifecycle management, from concept to deployment and iteration of integrations.
- Proficiency in defining technical requirements and creating detailed integration specifications.
- Ability to gather and analyze technical user feedback, translating it into actionable insights for the development team.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable technical solutions.
- High level of comfort with technology and its development.
- Excellent planning, organizational, problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.
- Excellent technical documentation skills along with in-depth knowledge of API design and integration strategies.
- Experience creating detailed reports and presentations to senior executives and key stakeholders.
- Previous experience in collaborating with sales and marketing teams to develop effective technical messaging and go-to-market strategies for integrations.
